Woodstock Poster Repro

It is the most important musical event in history and the most famous rock concert/festival ever held. For many, it exemplified the counterculture of the 1960s and the “hippie era”. Many of the best-known musicians of the times appeared during the rainy weekend including Joan Baez, Arlo Guthrie, Tim Hardin, Richie Havens, Blood Sweat and Tears, Jeff Beck Group,Incredible String Band, Ravi Shankar, Sly and the Family Stone, Bert Sommer, Sweetwater, Canned Heat, Creedence Clear Water, Greatful Dead, Keef Hartley,Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, Mountain, Quill, Santana, The Who, The Band,Joe Cocker, Crosby Stills and Nash, Jimi Hendrix, Iron Butterfly, Ten Years After, and Johnny Winter. Joni Mitchell’s song “Woodstock”, which memorialized the event, became a major hit for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Though it has been tried to be recreated a number of times in recent years, the original Woodstock festival of 1969 has proven to be legendary. This is a nice repro of the original 1969 poster by artist Arnold Skolnick.
